Chapter one · Cleveland

Nobody hands you anything in Cleveland.

Rust-belt rules: you show up, you outwork it, and you don't complain about the weather. Everything I know about grinding started on a street like this one.

Chapter two · Saturdays

100,000 people. One feeling.

The Horseshoe was my first real lesson in attention — what it sounds like when one moment lands on a hundred thousand people at the same time. I've been chasing that sound professionally ever since.

Chapter three · Hermosa Beach

Then I traded snow for saltwater.

Pier, Strand, volleyball at golden hour — and a lot of early mornings working toward something bigger. Nothing about swapping lake-effect winters for this has ever stopped feeling like a win.

Chapter four · Silicon Beach

Silicon Beach runs on attention.

Between the studios and the startups I learned how this city actually buys reach — billboards, feeds, and the rooms where budgets get decided. Then I co-founded Lazy Boy Agency to put brands inside the picture instead of next to it.

Chapter five · El Segundo

These days it ships without me.

A grass yard, three palm trees, golden hour, nothing on fire. Campaigns pacing themselves, ventures in the lab, AI teams building overnight — this site included. I said go; it did the rest.
